A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with Tuesday violent attack of a BMW driver whose luxury car was vandalized By a bicycle gang in broad daylight in Manhattan, the newspaper learned.
Law enforcement sources said Wednesday that the teen from Queens – who has not been identified because he is a minor – is accused of having happened after he allegedly attacked the ride of luxury victim Max Turgovnik on Fifth Avenue.
The sources said that about 25 passengers participated in the attack, six of them inflicted damage to Turgovnik’s car. The sources added that the police had identified another teenager and were looking for him.

A video of the horrific attack shows drivers surrounding a BMW on Fifth Avenue and 21st Street, with some hitting the car with their fists and feet, and another smashing a bicycle on Turgovnik’s front window.
Videos showed that one of the attackers ran towards the car and jumped over the hood, causing the windshield to crack and partially collapse.
“At that point, I was afraid that they would break the window, get in the car, get us in, and pull us out,” Turgovnik recalls.
His mother was frantically calling 911 and shouting, “We are going to die, they will kill us,” Turgovnik said.
