Unfortunately, the removal process only reaches us so far in this case. We know Sony Santa Monica is hiring a new game that isn’t God of War 2, but we have very little clues pointing to what the mysterious game is. Sometimes we can pick out a few descriptions from the job description, but there is nothing here worth pointing out.
We know Sony Santa Monica was previously working on a sci-fi game, but this was canceled in 2014. The alleged collages from the project eventually came to light in 2017 (Thanks Eurogamer), But there is no indication that the game in development today has any relationship. However, it is worth noting the possibility that the studio will choose an old project.
Also worth noting is recent speculation that Roger Clark, the voice behind Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, could work with Sony Santa Monica. Though, even if the theories are correct, it is entirely possible that Clark is voicing a character from God of War 2 and not the title indicated on the new job listing.
God of War 2 is just one among many Upcoming PS5 games We can’t wait to play.
